Real Madrid defeated Celta Vigo with 4-1

Real Madrid defeated Celta Vigo on Saturday by margin of 4-1. Real Madrid registered their second win of their season from as many games. The game was in balance 1-1, but just before half time Luka Modric put Real Madrid back into the game. Vinicius Junior and Federico Valverde scored two more goals in the second half. Ancelotti reserved special praise for Luka Modric and mentioned that he is a fantastic leader of the game.

He put Real Madrid back in the lead and scored the most important goal and post same the game got easier for the Madrid. Modric received the standing ovation from the crowd after the match. He said it is very special when fans of the other teams acknowledge you and love you. Real took the initial lead in the game in the first half through penalty when referee noticed that Renato Tapia has touched the football through hand. Celta came back to the game through penalty only when Eder Militao blocked a header from Goncalo Paciencia through hand. Striker Aspas took the penalty and made no mistake.

Modric bought Madrid back into the lead just 3 minutes before half time. It could have been worse for Celta and Real got another penalty late in the game but could not capitalise on it. Post same we got news that Luka Modric has exented his contract with Real Madrid for another season.

His goal was sensational to say the least. Real Madrid boss “Carlo Ancelotti“ was very happy post-game. He was very pleased that the side showed good energy on the pitch and they got good individual performances from players who have not got much game time on the pitch. He advised that they have players who can play at different positions in the pitch which eventually helps the team a lot.

Ancelotti specially praise Luka Modric mentioning that he is very special and immortal. It was the Luka goal that changed the game in favour of Real Madrid. It was sensational to say the least. Real Madrid has already lost Casemiro, let’s hope Luka could fill the void.
