Harry Kane milestone goal lifts Spurs flying high

Harry Kane scored his 250th goal for Tottenham in their match against Wolves at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Tottenham beat wolves by 1-0 and Harry Kane’s goal proved decisive. He set the world record of the maximum number of the goals scored for a single club going past Serio Aguero.

This was his 185th goal in the premier league. Harry Kane’s landmark moment came in the second half of the match where he headed the ball to the goal post from the close range. He is just 16 goals behind Jimmy Greaves as he looks to become the all-time leading scorer for Tottenham. Kane scored his first goal of the season last weekend against Chelsea which ended in 2-2 draw.

Kane has completed ten years in premier league. Although Tottenham are playing far from their best, they have still managed to be on the top of the table by winning 2 games.

Tottenham vs. Wolves

Tottenham now has seven points from three games. Arsenal has nine points and together with Tottenham are the top two teams in the current point standing. Kane is yet to win a trophy with Tottenham. In his post-match press meeting, Kane said he was hopeful of winning some trophies and past 9-10 years has been wonderful with the club and he is looking to continue with the same passion for many more years to come.

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte was wary of the challenges laying ahead of the club to achieve the glory. He mentioned that they are thinking about single game at a time and wants to continue the good work to achieve the glory. Tottenham’s fierce rival Arsenal is in rich vein of form. It will lip-smacking encounter when both of these rivals meeting in the ground for their next battle.

It will be interesting to see if Harry Kane will be able to breach the final frontier and win the trophy with the club. It will be very well deserved for this legend.
