How did Elvis Presley died?

Elvis Presley died

Presley was found dead in the bathroom of his Graceland estate in Memphis 45 years ago on Aug 16, 1977. Elvis Presley died officially of cardiac arrest. Attempts to revive him were made, but they failed, and he was pronounced dead at Baptist Memorial Hospital at 3:30 pm. Elvis Presley was just 42 years old. An autopsy was conducted on the same day of the death, and it was announced that the immediate cause of death was cardiac arrest. The pathologists who performed the autopsy thought he might have suffered anaphylactic shock caused by the codeine pills he had gotten from his dentist. He was known to have had a mild allergy to that.

A pair of lab reports released two months later strongly suggested that polypharmacy was the primary cause of death. One report stated, “fourteen drugs were found in Elvis’ system, ten in significant quantity.” In 1979, forensic pathologist Cyril Wecht reviewed the reports and concluded that a combination of central nervous system depressants had resulted in accidental death.

Drugs reports claims –

Question marks were raised on the competence and ethics of two centrally involved medical professionals. Before the autopsy was complete, Francisco had offered a cause of death; they claimed the underlying ailment was cardiac arrhythmia. There were allegations raised of a cover-up.

A trial was conducted against Presley’s main phprimaryian, George Nichopoulos, and he was accused of criminal liability for his death. The facts were startling. He has 10,000 doses of sedatives/narcotics in the first eight months of 1977 alone. His license was suspended for three months and was permanently revoked in the 1990s. In 1994, the case was re-opened, and Joseph David, a renowned pathologist, declared that there was nothing substantial in the reports to state that death was due to drugs. He was one hell of a legend.
