Comedian Raju Srivastava died?

Raju Srivastav passed away at age 58 on September 21, 2022, during his treatment in Delhi. He was working out in the gym on August 10 and complained of chest pain there and suffered a cardiac arrest. He had to undergo angioplasty and was also put on a ventilator. The neurologist also observed some swelling in his brain during his treatment and treated him for the same. His condition was declared to be critical since the time he had suffered the heart attack.

He passed away on the morning of September 21 during his treatment in Delhi. Many prolific public figures, including Anil Kapoor, Amit Shah, Ajay Devgan, Rajnath Singh, Narendra Modi, Yogi Adityanath, and others, have expressed their condolences over his death.

He is regarded as the king of comedy. His looks were also praised for being similar to Amitabh Bachchan. His contemporary and fellow comedian Sunil Pal praised Srivastav and said he was very kind and would always help juniors find gigs. He said that he would also help his children financially and would make that they are paid on time and would make sure that they are paid well. He had brought in a lot of good changes in the comedy circle.

Another fellow comedian, Bharti Singh, said his death is a significant loss for the entire country. He is survived by his wife Shikha and two children. They had one boy and one girl. His mortal remains were taken to Nigambodh Ghat crematorium for his last rites. He was in the hospital for about 41 days. His son, Ayushman, performed his last rites in the Nigambodh Ghat crematorium.

His comedian friends Sunil Pal, Ahsaan Qureshi, and Surendra Sharma were also on the cremation ground to pay their last respects. Ayushman folded his hands and bowed in front of his father’s body for the last time during the cremation. He was counted among the most high-profile and experienced comedians in the country.

He also featured in Hindi films such as “Maine Pyar Kiya” and “Baazigar.” He was declared dead at 10.20 am on September 21. May his soul rest in peace.
